Lakeside Plastics Director traffic barrel base weights come in either 25# or 40# weighted options. The base weights help resist barrel movement from the rush of passing vehicles because they are made from 100 percent recycled rubber which increases durability and maximizes road friction.
Our Director barrels are designed to snap securely to the base weight with minimum effort. The barrel is designed to "break-away" from the base rather than break when a high-speed vehicle impact occurs.
The tire-ring ballast slides over the Director to securely fit at the base of the barrel. The tire-ring ballast provides increased surface area to maximize stability and contact with the road surface.
There are two weighted break-away barrel bases available as well as a tire-ring ballast. Each are designed to suit any job site requirement.
