PLASTISOLS
General
Description
Plastisol
is a liquid (free-flowing or highly viscous) vinyl dispersion that is
fused by heat to form a solid end product. A plastisol formation can be
altered to produce a variety of different physical properties. The
plastisol can be hard as glass or soft as a plastic fishing rig, clear
or any color including fluorescent, the finish can be glossy to matte,
or flat to grainy surface. As you can see a plastisol can be formulated,
by our expert personnel, to produce a variety of different end products.
There
are no standard plastisol formulations Lakeside Plastics Inc. sells.
Each plastisol is custom made to meet the specific needs of our customers'
manufacturing process. .

Processing

plastisol can be processed by dip coating, rotational molding, slush

Pricing
varies with the formulation.

Most
plastisols sold in lots of 15 gallons or less are $1.75 - 2.75/Lbs
FOB factory.

Drum
pricing can range from $0.75 - $1.75/Lbs FOB Factory, truck load
pricing will be given once a formulation has been accepted.
The
prices mentioned above are for reference only, some specialty plastisol
may be more or less expensive.
